Every season on The Simpsons, there is a Treehouse of Horror episode that includes three scary stories with The Simpsons. Believe me, they're scary. In Simpson comic books, there are also some Treehouse of Horror comics.

Why is it Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror? Why not Homer?
It's Bart's Treehouse of Horror because on the very first Halloween episode, Bart was telling the stories up in the treehouse(The Raven as an exception). Homer was the one secretly listening to the stories, while shaking with fear. SCAREDY CAT! Also, Bart's the one who likes telling those kind of stories.
